Pipe fitting is the skill of calculating with mathematics to make a run or pipe goes from point A to point B.
It involves the use or skill in general math, geometry, and trigonometry, it employs specialized tools and jig fixtures not commonly used by your average welder to hold and position pipe in preparation for welding. Do not be fooled all pipe welders are not accomplished pipe fitters.
